Very excited to write this post!
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting Eye-Eye in Cap Hill for a new pair of prescription glasses. I am all about supporting local businesses, so I was super pumped to finally check out the store I used to walk by every day on my way to work. When I arrived, I got to meet the Eye-Eye team and pick out a pair of glasses and I must say, I was so impressed with the experience from beginning to end.
The staff was super attentive and knowledgable about the selection of frames and it was seriously the best selection of glasses of any optical store I’ve ever been to!! They have frames from over 27 designers and carry a bunch of brands that no one else carries. Rows and rows of great frames! And the office itself is so beautiful and laid back. It’s not stuffy like other places I’ve been. And I’ve been to a lot of eye doctors. I’ve had glasses since I was in first grade, so that should tell you something! They also have their own in-house lab, and can turn around a new pair of frames in 2-3 days, so they are super fast.
Here are the frames I decided on, along with a few images from Eye Eye’s fall frame preview event put on by Gossip & Glamour with fellow bloggers Kirsty, Jenn, and Brittany. (Group photo by Karya Schanilec Photography). My frames are by a brand called Krewe out of New Orleans and I seriously LOVE them. They’re so fun and colorful, and very me.
Here are some of the other glasses I was deciding between and other photos of the shop. It was so hard to choose!! I easily could’ve picked 3-4 pairs that I loved. If you are looking for a new eye doctor, are in need of some new frames, or sunglasses too, you really need to go into the Eye Eye. I really can’t say enough about the great service, selection, and atmosphere!! I will definitely be back, and I’ll be bringing Gregory too!
