I started this blog 3 years ago to mainly talk style, and I've learned in that time that actually, I can have more of an impact and connect with others through my stories. That’s why I've shifted gears a bit and focus more on stories and style together. I want to share my genuine raw experiences in hopes that they will enable me to connect, learn, and grow with you guys!
When I asked my husband, if you could describe me in one word, what would it be? He answered, "Persistent.".
I guess probably the biggest thing that differentiates me from other bloggers is that I'm an electrical engineer by degree. Most people are surprised to learn that. Getting through engineering school was the hardest thing I have ever done. Point blank. But knowing that I got through it, even when I felt like it was impossible, taught me that I can literally do anything I want if I put my mind to it. Anything. And I 100% believe in that. So that was my day job until I decided I couldn't take it anymore. I was incredibly unhappy and kind of felt like I was wasting away. I learned that a solid paycheck does not equate to happiness. So when my husband and I moved to Seattle, I started over in marketing.
I'm married to a wonderful man, named Gregory, who takes most of the photos of me on here. He's the sweetest soul that I ever did meet.
I played soccer in college, and it was probably my first love before clothes. I am ultra-competitive and love athletics and being fit!! I currently help coach a high school girls team. I love coaching. It has really helped me define what kind of leader I want to be...and the girls keep me young.
Food is my friend. Home girl likes to eat. Greg knows if he can keep me full, he can keep me happy.
Traveling is a passion. I think it's a learning thing for us. We are life-long learners and both think it's important to see all that the world has to offer.
