MillerCoors Tasting Room Event

Last week, Greg and I got invited to a beer pairing dinner at Union 50 that was put on by MillerCoors. First of all, Union 50 is an incredible restaurant located on Mass Ave in Indy. Greg and I have been there a few times for various occasions, but it was our first time going to any sort of event like this. The event was for Indy social influencers and media and it was so great!!!!!!! I'll get to the food in a minute, but before that, I want to talk about my friend Karina of Karina Style Diaries. We have been following each other for a little while on Instagram, and then we finally got to meet at this event!! Karina is an awesome blogger in Indy and manages to do it all while raising her three kiddos with her husband. It was so fun getting to talk with Karina and her husband, Brian, about blogging and career goals. It's one thing to follow someone on Instagram and love their posts, but then when you meet them and get to know them a little bit as a person it just adds to the bond even more. I can't wait to get to know Karina better and learn more about blogging from her. 

Now on to the food and beer! Union 50 prepared a 5 course tasting (plus dessert) for us and I literally can't even explain how great everything was!!!!! I've put the pictures below in the order of the courses. The way that MillerCoors paired the beers was awesome. Before each course, a MillerCoors rep told us about the beer and the food and explained why they paired the two together. It was informative, fun, and awesome to try some new food and beers, all while connecting with others. My favorite beer was the Leinenkugels Grapefruit Shandy and I think my favorite course food wise was the filet. It was probably the best filet I've ever had. Overall, everything was phenomenal and what a great event MillerCoors and Union 50 put on!!! Greg and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
