These photos were taken by Erika Aileen Photography. Erika and I had so much fun shooting this look. In the picture above...I was like, this outfit makes me want to do a karate kick...so that's what I did! This blue backdrop was pretty cool. We were just walking around and stumbled upon this house in downtown Lafayette. Every time I wear his skirt I just feel like a cool rocker chick. I don't know if you're able to tell from the pics but it's leather...that's what's up! And then I had to throw on my frilly socks with my chucks...I'll call it a signature move of mine. This statement necklace from J.Crew is great. It's a lot flashier than it looked online, but I like it. 

Did anyone else have socks like this when they were little? My mom called them our church socks. Sometimes in elementary school, I would be a little pistol and wear them under my shin guards to soccer practice.....hahah they would get all dirty and stained... and my mom would get so mad! I hated wearing those damn socks to church. It all comes full-circle because now these socks are some of my favs and I love them. 

I hope you guys like this rocker chick vibe. It's a little edgier look for me, which is fun!  Let me know what you think!
