Pink Frill, Blue Midi Part 2

Pink Frill, Blue Midi Part 2

In this post, I'm wearing the exact same skirt in an earlier "Relax" post here, but in a totally different way. I don't know about you guys, but I'm all about versatility in my clothing...meaning I love being able to wear the same piece multiple ways! So that's what I'm doing here. I've styled this blue midi for totally different aesthetic as opposed to the spunky "Relax" post. The pink top with espadrilles transforms the skirt into a girly, frilly look. Same hair style as the other post, just wiped my lipstain off and changed shoes and top! This type of switch-a-roo would be great for a daytime to evening transitional look on the run. I know sometimes you don't have time to run home in between events, so packing an easy swap outfit is often a great idea. I do it all the time!! Now here are more outfit details!

For starters, I love this little babe of a top. For some reason it kind of makes me feel like a ballerina. Great things about it:

  1. It's light pink
  2. It's open backed
  3. It's lace floral!!! I mean....
  4. It has a frill semi-peplum.

What's not to love right? I got it from a boutique that was once on Purdue's campus. The store has since closed, which sucks. I liked going in there, but I think the prices were just a bit over the average college student budget. At least for me they were.

Moving on to the shoes. These are J. Crew and some of my favorites. I love a good pair of espadrilles and these are no exception, especially since they are lace-ups. I found a similar pair here. They are so comfortable and go with everything. I wear them a lot in the summer. Kate Spade New York watch that also goes with everything.
