Fall into Floral

Fall into Floral

I went home to Evansville a couple weekends ago and my mother and I have this ritual that on Sunday mornings when I come home we go to target! I think she was feeling particularly generous last Sunday because I came up big! She bought me this awesome corduroy floral jumper!!! I love it so much. And I haven't worn a jumper in a very long time. It's so comfy and cute and of course, I love the fall floral details. This jumper would be perfect for any number of outdoor fall activities...or a date night? I have a feeling that jumpers are going to become increasingly popular over this fall and probably next. In my opinion they're more functional than rompers.

I paired my Steve Madden Gorgeous boots with the jumper to make the look more sassy and less school girl. I love these boots! They aren't Stuart Weitzman's, but they'll do just fine for now. The suede is nice and I was really worried about the leg openings not being tight enough on my thighs, but the drawstring in the back allows me to tighten them to my liking. As far as comfort goes, I have no issues. The blockish heel makes it easier to walk in them. And I love a good block heel.  I first wrote about them on my TCF Hit List page and then Greg got them for me for our anniversary. I am really glad that I got them!! I only paid $85 for them from Macy's. They're originally $150 so I consider that a pretty good deal! I've linked a couple other styles that I really like too here and here. These are available for pre-order currently. Over the knee boots are the shit. I just feel powerful in them.

Moving on to the details. I finally got into the choker game!! I got this little babe from a local boutique called civvies. They just opened on Purdue's campus. I will be partnering with them for a future shoot, so that's pretty exciting. I want more chokers!!! Haha I really like the edgy look and I think choker's will continue to be big throughout the fall and winter. I'm also liking the look of wearing my Indiana necklace from Silver in the City with other necklaces. It's just a nice little touch. I wore my Fossil vintage muse tan leather watch for this look. It goes with everything! Overall, this outfit is great for fall, and as it gets cooler, I can just throw on some tights under the jumper and boots. That's always an option.
