The Perfect Pack

The Perfect Pack

I'll start out by letting you know that this is a special post for me. One of the reasons that I started blogging was to meet and connect with people who also shared my love of fashion. The Color Floral has definitely done that for me. You guys might recall that I worked with a company out of Boulder, Colorado earlier this year called Embrazio. They make handmade leather goods and I already own a belt and small crossbody bag by them. Since the original collaboration I have kept in touch with Stephanie, who is one of the owners. A month or so ago, she let me in on a little secret...they were creating a leather backpack! As soon as she described it to me and I saw a photo I fell in love. So when I was offered a chance to participate in the Kickstarter campaign for it, I jumped at the chance.

The Renaissance Backpack is absolutely beautiful folks. I've been using it for several weeks now and I truly LOVE it. It's all handmade by artisans in Leon, Mexico. Maybe it's the engineer in me, but I really appreciate when a bag is designed for both functionality and aesthetic....and Embrazio really hit it out the park on this one. Since carrying it, I've gotten SO many compliments...and it smells so freaking good guys. It's super soft, the perfect size, and goes with everything!! The exterior pockets in the front and back make is so practical when using  it. It's also fully lined, has adjustable straps...I could go on and on, but you'll see all the details in the photos below. I really can't say enough about it. I can dress it up or down too. It's fits my laptop for work...or I can throw a jacket/scarf...or some flowers in the back when trotting around town. :) I rarely leave the house without it!!

Now that I've broken down the backpack deats for a bit, I want to jump back to the Kickstarter campaign. It will only be running for month of November. Basically you can contribute to the campaign and then depending upon how much you contribute Embrazio will give you a reward gift of one of Embrazio's handmade leather products. All of which you're getting at a nice little discount off of the regular retail price. So you could get a leather belt, crossbody bag, or get yourself your own Renaissance backpack, or more. Your contribution will go towards the manufacturing of more backpacks because they have already sold out of the initial production run...that's how popular they are! I like to think of it as a way to contribute to a growing, small business with an amazing line of products. I really encourage you guys to check out the Kickstarter campaign and contribute if you are so inclined. I'm happy to be able to spread awareness about a company that I believe in, and that makes one hell of a backpack, among other things. Please comment your thoughts below and if you are in the market for an amazing leather backpack that is honestly much better quality than many of the others that I've seen...you've gotta check it out!
