Spanx Faux Leather Leggings

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings

I've had my eye on these faux leather Spanx leggings for a WHILE. I first saw them on a Spanx Instagram ad I believe. That's effective marketing right there. I went to the website and they were $98 and I was like...no way am I paying $98 for leggings. That's crazy! But I kept seeing them and kind of like, yearning for them. Haha You know when you see something and it just stays in your mind and you keep thinking about it and wanting it? That's how I was with these! The faux leather leggings that I had were really cheap and fit poorly, and if I bent over, they could very well rip. Just getting into them was a 10 minute task. Lol I'm serious. And I love leather!!! It always looks badass and sexy.

So what really sealed the deal for me was that weekend I went to Nashville with my friends, Ang and Emily.....Emily had bought them!!!! So I got to see them in person and once I saw them and felt them...I was sold. I had to have them!!! Then I also remembered that I had a couple Nordstrom gift cards stashed away for a rainy day and BOOM....I got them for $30! That is something I could definitely handle.

So needless to say, I am in love with them!!!! They make me look so skinny and are so comfortable!!! And the thick waist band is amazing. Now having them...I think I would pay the full $98 for them. I love them. I've styled them this way so that you can see them in their entirety. On the regular, I probably wouldn't wear them this way, but I wanted you guys to get the full effect. :) I don't feel like I need to say it, but I'll say it anyway...I HIGHLY recommend these Spanx leggings!!! Best leggings I've ever worn.

Now on the the rest of the look...my turtleneck sweater is old and from express....but I wear it so much in the winter. It's so soft. This is my favorite snood!!! It's Kate Spade New York and I got it last year for Christmas. It's another item that I knew I had to have as soon as I saw it. I'm a sucker for a giant bow...and no one does those better than Kate Spade. I couldn't find the exact snood anywhere, but here is a link to similar styles. Snoods are great because like a scarf, they are both practical and cute. They are a great winter accessory that easy to throw on, and still keep you warm without ruining your look. My booties also have bows on them if you can kind of tell. They are Gianni Bini from Dillard's way back in the day. I go through stages with them...sometimes I love them, and sometimes I think they're tacky. Who knows...but I can never bring myself to get rid of them.

I hope you guys like this outfit! It's perfect for a sexy, but sweet holiday look. It's not often that I wear all black, but sometimes it's just good for the soul.
