Summer Outfit Mix
So...this post is just going to be pictures of some of my summer outfit looks. There's only one picture of each look because I was only thinking about instagram when I took them and so I deleted all of the others of the outfit except for the best shot. I know, awful mistake. I'm very sorry!! I am learning now and won't make that mistake in the future!
But anyway, I still wanted to showcase these because I feel like it it's good to see a wide array of options for being out and about in the summer time. Most of these are my date night looks, but I think these outfits are good for any number of events from dressy to casual. It was also my thought to post these because you get a lot of bang for your buck in the post...meaning by looking at just one post you can, hopefully, get a lot of ideas.
That's my hope anyway...I think it'll be cool to do more posts like this for the seasons. What do you guys think??? I know sometimes when I'm blog searching, I'm kind of impatient so I don't want to look through 20 pictures of the same outfit in order to get the details. There are, of course, times when it's nice to see all of the detail shots of an outfit, but posting this way seems like an efficient alternative. Do you guys like the idea of posts like this or not???
I'm so sorry because for the life of me I can't remember where I got these shoes!! I love them and I've worn them so much, but I just can't remember. All I know is that it was one of those really small online boutique's. I'm sorry guys! Also, something I absolutely love to do is wear socks, especially frilly socks, with heels. You guys will see that a lot from me. Socks: American Apparel, found here. Skirt: H&M, similar here. Shirt: Gap Factory, similar here. Necklace: J.Crew, similar here.
I got this Blazer for Christmas this past winter and I absolutely love it. It's so versatile and the perfect weight. I'm 5'11" so I got in tall so that I would have the length that I wanted. It can be dressed up or down and worn pretty much year round. Every time I wear it I just feel really good about the way I look.
Boots: Hunter Boots, similar here. Shorts: J.Crew Factory, found here. Necklace: J.Crew Factory, Shirt: J.Crew. Blazer: J.Crew, found here. Bag: Tory Burch, similar here.
This was me at work yesterday. The chambray shirt is the same shirt that's in the second pictures. You see what I mean about the socks with shoes thing? I love it.
Shoes: J.Crew, similar here. Pants: The Limited, Necklace: J.Crew, Cardigan: American Eagle from like high school, but I found it on Poshmark here. Lipstain: Sephora.
I'm hesitant to post this, because I know it shows a lot of skin and probably doesn't appeal to everyone....but you know what, It's me, and it's another side to my style. Sometimes I feel like showing a little skin and I think it's okay! In high school and stuff I used to dress so conservatively, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that either, but sometimes wearing something like this just makes me feel free and confident!
Shoes: Target: found here. Skirt: Forever 21. Top: Express.
